About the Position:

The Animal Health IT Customer Master Data Lead collaborates across all levels of the organization, from senior management to tactical execution- to understand data and reporting needs and propose customer master data management (MDM), data, and analytics services and solutions. Working in a matrixed environment, you will direct all aspects of the design, development, and delivery of easy-to-use reports, dashboards, and self-service MDM and analytics capabilities. You will cultivate an environment that generates innovative ideas, and you will execute them in partnership with internal business partners, IT colleagues, and outside vendors. You will standardize key performance indicators, automate insight generation, and deliver relevant, meaningful recommendations.

Welcome to Our Team:

We are the Information Technology (IT) organization of our Animal Health company. Within IT, our team is responsible for partnering with business leaders to provide technology solutions that enable Animal Health to be agile, data-focused and ensure reliability of product supply. The position reports to the Animal Health IT Enterprise Master Data and Supply Chain Lead and is a member of the management team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with business partners, identify and interpret business needs and lead configurable, customer MDM and technology solutions.
  • Build and review requirements for the customer MDM and analytics platform including the platform's UI/UX.
  • Understand your partner personas, deliver a fantastic user experience, balancing user's desires and the technology's capabilities.
  • Develop and own ongoing support for product materials including training documentation, wiki pages, and product guides. Ensure data integrity across all performance-based metrics and reporting.
  • Direct end-to-end Customer MDM Program delivery teams and establish the product roadmap.
  • Serve as the Customer MDM team business liaison, providing stakeholder relationship management across the Animal Health division, including setting priorities, developing Customer MDM, data governance and analytics comprehension within the business, and aligning the MDM, data governance and analytics product and service to support business priorities. Collaborate with business, platform, data enablement, and IT teams to standardize department tools and cross-train teams to use them.
  • Research and evaluate MDM, data governance, analytics tools and technologies, making recommendations for new capabilities that are aligned with the company's strategic goals and improve business results.


Your Daily Activities include, but are not limited to:
  • Management - Responsible for design and implementation of strategic, aligned and compliant solutions to support business initiatives. Support management vision, strategy and policy for building a high-performance engagement model with business partners.
  • Process and Insight - Realize core sustainable processes and enablers of successful delivery. Practice and foster a mindset of leveraging analytics to gain insights and for data-focused decision making.
  • Relationships - Build exceptional relationships with stakeholders which are focused on meeting the business needs and most value for investments.
  • Organizational Change Management - Demonstrate and drive high quality change management practices with clients and stakeholders while implementing solutions that are sustainable. Be a role model of management capabilities and behaviors.
  • Global - Ensure that the solutions are aligned IT platforms and supports business strategy.
  • Diversity - Respect diversity on teams, different perspectives, ideas, knowledge while working towards a common goal.


Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.


Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 7 years of business intelligence, master data management, data governance and analytics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with MDM/Data Governance/Analytics Tools (e.g., SAP MDG, Aera analytics and data quality management, Collibra Data Governance, Informatica MDM and Tibco Spotfire).
  • MDM solution experience- build and operate within pharmaceutical is a plus.
  • Experience working with customer engagement model, customer and product master data management, sales and marketing and supply chain data is highly preferred.


Additional Skills:
  • A demonstrated record of success as a Master Data Professional in the pharmaceutical/consumer manufacturing or related industry with deep knowledge on data and business processes and systems.
  • Ability to design and execute MDM, data governance and analytics solutions.
  • Ability to evaluate complex situation and processes and effectively integrate and synthesize the data to form a complete cohesive picture.
  • Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind.
  • Exceptionally well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate and effectively influence stakeholders and business strategy.
  • The ability to navigate cross-divisional programs, coordinate projects and processes across regional/global boundaries, and build effective cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • A team player who places great emphasis on collective achievements and team diversity.
