Admiralty List of Radio Signals Specialist (Cartography digital and print publication)

Location: Taunton, Somerset/hybrid working

Salary: £26,737 pa

Hours: Full time, part time, job share

Contract: Permanent

The Admiralty List of Radio Signals is a 6-volume digital and paper publication, providing safety critical information to mariners. With the situation at sea constantly changing it is vital that the publication is accurately maintained and updated. We are therefore seeking highly analytical candidates to research and acquire new information, assess incoming data, accurately update the product suite, and write and publish weekly notices to mariners.

Whilst existing maritime knowledge and an understanding of radio signals would be hugely beneficial, more important will be your keen eye for detail and strong analytical, communication and decision-making skills. Candidates are likely to have an interest in cartography or a publication background. We are equally interested in hearing from candidates from other sectors who can evidence experience in managing a quality service and the ability to quickly learn the product suite.
